MIXED MEDIA

He first shoots the photos that serve as the basis of the digital collage.He likes to be surprised by the different experiments he conducts by working the texture and color of each photographic layer separately, until he gets something interesting.

He then mixes the different layers (between 3 to 9 layers) and applies a digitalization process to the digital collage that allows him to transform each set of pixels into something very close to a brush stroke of oil paint. 

At the end, once the artwork is printed on a 3.0 mm brushed aluminum sheet, he adds handmade details with oil paint or metallic ink. This third creative process can last few minutes or several hours, depending on the moment of inspiration.
